Roman Grygoriv und Illia Razumeiko sind ein preisgekröntes Komponistenduo aus Kyiv. Seit 2015 arbeiten sie als Komponisten, Regisseure und Librettisten im Bereich der zeitgenössischen Oper und des neuen Musiktheaters, dessen Grenzen sie erforschen. Dabei inszenieren sie sowohl in Theatern als auch in Bibliotheken und leeren Museen. Ihr vielschichtiges Musiktheaterprojekt »CHORNOBYLDORF. Archäologische Oper« entstand 2020 – unter anderem basierend auf Videoexpeditionen in die Sperrzone von Tschernobyl und zum Atomkraftwerk Saporischschja – und tourte unter anderem nach Rotterdam, Vilnius und Huddersfield.
